6 Most Underrated Kage Of All Time In Naruto

A Kage is generally regarded as the strongest Ninja from a particular village. Each of the Five great villages have their own Kage. The Kage are all pretty strong, as just being a ‘Kage’ says a lot about their strength. However, there are some Kage who don’t usually get the appreciation they deserve. That’s right. Today, I’ve made a list of the most Underrated Kage in Naruto.

06. Mū

Underrated Kage Of All Time In Naruto

Mū was the second Tsuchikage of Iwagakure. He was the teacher of Onoki, and the one who passed on his infamous ‘Dust Release’ on to Onoki. Mū was extremely underrated. He was just as good as Onoki with Dust Release, if not better. Further, he had the ability to complete wipe out his chakra, which made it impossible for even skilled sensors to detect him. Mū was also capable enough to split his own body into two. However, this led to his strength cut in half. Nonetheless, he was the strongest Tsuchikage to ever live, but he rarely gets the attention that he deserves.

05. Third Kazekage

Underrated Kage Of All Time In Naruto

The Third Kazekage was renowned as the strongest Kazekage in the history of Sunagakure. He was famous for his Magnet Release, and usage of Iron Sand. Further, he was extremely intelligent, as he was able to study Shukaku’s powers to create Iron Sand. The Third was so powerful, that his iron sand was known as the strongest weapon in Hidden Sand’s history.

04. Gengetsu Hozuki

Underrated Kage Of All Time In Naruto

Gengetsu Hozuki was the second Mizukage of Kirigakure. He was an extremely powerful shinobi, capable of killing Mū, but losing his own life in the process as well. Nonetheless, he was a great threat to the Shinobi Alliance when reanimated. Gengetsu was also a skilled Genjutsu user, and his other fighting skills weren’t bad at all. Gaara himself recognized him as the main threat from the reincarnated 4 Kage.

03. Third Raikage

Underrated Kage Of All Time In Naruto

The Third Raikage was known as the strongest Raikage in the history of Kumogakure. He was a very powerful Shinobi, whose strength surpassed even At, the 4th. He was known for his usage of Nintaijustu. Further, Ay had the reputation to have never been hurt by anyone in his entire life. He literally had an impenetrable lightning armor. Even Wind Release attacks like Rasenshuriken had no effect on him.

Moreover, he fought 10,000 shinobi head on during the 3rd Great Ninja War. He fought them for 3 days to let his comrades escape the battlefield. That’s not all. He has even fought against Gyuki head on, and ultimately managed to seal it as well. He was easily one of the strongest Kage in the entire Naruto series.

02. Tobirama Senju

Underrated Kage Of All Time In Naruto

Tobirama Senju was the second Hokage of Konohagakure. He may not have the Wood Release, like Hashirama, but he was a genius. He developed so many Jutsu, and many of them aren’t even known to us. Tobirama was the creator of FTG, and the Edo Tensei as well. Because of Hashirama Senju, he was overshadowed.

But, he was a far better leader and Hokage than Hashirama ever was. Tobirama also revolutionized the Shinobi world. He introduced the system of ANBU, and even the Ninja Academy. He was also the one who set up the concept of Chūnin Exams. This guy was really a genius, and I believe he is one of the most underrated Kage in the entire Naruto series.

01. Hiruzen Sarutobi

Hiruzen Sarutobi was the Third Hokage of Konohagakure. He was known as the ‘Professor’, and the ‘God of Shinobi’ as well. Hiruzen Sarutobi is the most underrated Kage for me. In his prime, he was known to have surpassed every Hokage who came before him.

Further, even at the age of 74, he was able to beat Hashirama, Tobirama, and Orochimaru combined.

Even then, he was known as the strongest of the Five Kage to exist. Moreover, Hiruzen ha knowledge on every single Jutsu that existed. he was even able to deduce the nature of the Truth Seeking Balls. For me, he remains undisputed as the most underrated Kage of all time.
