Top 8 Awakened Devil Fruits In One Piece

All of the One Piece fans know what Devil Fruits give powers to the people who eat them. Of course, not all of them have the same power. Each devil fruit is unique. The people who possess Devil Fruits are powerful and have made a name for themselves in One Piece world, but when one consumes these Devil Fruits their ability to swim is taken away for them. A new concept of Devil Fruit was introduced at Dressrosa which is called Devil Fruit Awakening. There aren’t many awakened Devil Fruits in One Piece World right now. So, today I have made a list some awakened Devil Fruits in One Piece.

08. Ito Ito no Mi

Ito Ito no Mi

Ito Ito no Mi is a Paramecia type of Devil Fruit which allows its user to generate and control strings at will. This was eaten by the former captain of the Donquixote Pirates, Donquixote Doflamingo. He has awakened his Devil Fruit, with this he can turn any non living thing that he touches into strings. Doflamingo’s awakening was first introduced at Dressrosa during his fight against Monkey D. Luffy.

07. Mochi Mochi no Mi

Mochi Mochi no Mi

Mochi Mochi no Mi is a Special Paramecia type of Devil Fruit which allows its user to generate and control Mochi at will. This Devil Fruit was eaten by Charlotte Katakuri, who is the member of the Big Mom Pirates. This is the second awakened Devil Fruit which has been shown in the series. Katakuri can also turn non living thing into Mochi with or without touching the ground. His awakening was first introduced at Whole Cake Island Arc and while Katakuri was fighting against Strawhat Luffy.

06. Hie Hie no Mi

Hie Hie no Mi

Hie Hie no Mi is a logia type of Devil Fruit which allows its user to create and also control ice at will. This Devil Fruit was eaten by former Marine Admiral Aokiji and was first shown at Long Ring Long island. The reason I believe that his Devil Fruit is awakened because of what he did on Punk Hazard, he changed the climate of the half of the island of Punk Hazard with his Devil fruit. Aokiji did the exactly the same things, i.e, turning his environment into ice which is similar to what an Awakened Devil Fruits can do.

Moreover, another reason is that he was able to turn ground into ice without touching it at Punk Hazard. It is when he saved Smoker from Doflamingo and we know a person who has awakened his Devil Fruit doesn’t need to touch the ground in order to turn the object into that substance because in the latest chapter Katakuri was able to turn the ground into Mochi without touching it. This slightly proves that Aokiji awakened Devil Fruit.

05. Suna Suna no Mi

Suna Suna no Mi

Suna Suna no Mi is a Logia type of Devil Fruit which allows it’s user to generate and manipulate sand at will. The user of this Devil Fruit is the former Shichibukai, Sir Crocodile. This devil fruit was first introduced at Alabasta Arc. He might have also awakened his Devil Fruit because he was able to turn the ground into sand at Alabasta and also the gate at Impel down. Many of you might not agree with me but Crocodile himself said that he has taken his Devil Fruit power beyond its normal limits which is exactly what Doflamingo said about awakened Devil Fruits.

04. Magu Magu no Mi

Magu Magu no Mi

Magu Magu no Mi is a Logia type of Devil Fruit which allows its user to create and control magma at will. Fleet Admiral Akainu is the wielder of this Devil Fruit and this Devil Fruit’s powers were shown at Marineford arc. There are two reasons behind my belief that Akainu has awakened his devil fruit. The first one is because of Punk Hazard, he changed the environment into lava which is a property of awakened Devil Fruit and second, if Aokiji was able to awakening his Devil Fruit then Akainu might have also awakened his Devil Fruit because he as capable as Aokiji himself.

03. Bisu Bisu no Mi

Bisu Bisu no Mi

Bisu Bisu no Mi is a Paramecia type of Devil Fruit which allows it user the power of creation and also manipulation of biscuits at will. The user of this Devil Fruit is Charlotte Cracker, who is a member of the Big Mom Pirates. Cracker has shown the same abilities as an awakened Devil Fruit because he can create biscuits just by clapping and can shape them into anything he like which is exactly like Katakuri’s Devil Fruit awakening.

02. Yami Yami no Mi

Yami Yami no Mi

Yami Yami no Mi is a Logia type of Devil Fruit which allows its user to nullify any Devil Fruit’s powers. This Devil Fruit was eaten by Marshall D. Teach and this Devil Fruit was first introduced at Banaro Island. Blackbeard might have awakened this Devil Fruit because the way used it before the timeskip. Whenever he touched the ground, Blackbeard transforms the ground into darkness it bears a striking resemblance to all the other Devil Fruits which have been awakened. Like Doflamingo touches the ground and it becomes strings. On the other hand Blackbeard touches the ground and it becomes darkness.

01. Mera Mera no Mi

Mera Mera no Mi

Mera Mera no Mi is a Logia type of Devil Fruit which allows it’s user to generate and manipulate fire at will. This Devil fruit was eaten by Portgas D. Ace of the Whitebeard Pirates. Its powers were first introduced at Alabasta Arc and it also has natural advantage over Hie Hie no Mi. Many of the people think that Ace didn’t Awaken his Devil Fruit and was too weak to be called a Commander. But, when Katakuri demostrated that a person who has awakened his Devil Fruit can turn non living thing around him/her without touching that thing, it made us realize that Ace was also an awakened Devil Fruit.

The reason is that, when he used his move “Great Fire Commandment”, Ace turned the upper level of the ground into fire(if you don’t believe me check it in the manga), he didn’t touch the ground either but still there was fire all around Ace when he used this move. I only have this proof to back this up but of course you can have your own opinion which you can tell md in the comment section below. That’s it from me and I will see you guys in the next article.
